This song is tongue in cheek.
I can’t really give a good reason as to why I wrote it.

Maybe it was all in hopes of “my story” being something like Billy Idol. He added “Idol” to his name, and poof he became one.

To date I’ve only sold 1 CD to someone besides myself, and that was to my ex brother-in-law.

I guess that gives him a few brownie points, but to be honest him divorcing my sister I kinda wish he never would have bought the dang thing.
