Story

You know I don’t know if I should consider this a “Christian” song or not. The main reason is it’s totally bashing churches.

There are so many times you see people have a nice shirt on with a fish on their car, and they think that they are “saved.” They are obsessed with these rules, and regulations, but their church is dead, and the ones that aren’t dead are worried about putting on a show.

I’ve never seen anyone healed in church service accept *maybe* once. -It was an elderly guy in a wheel chair. I’m not 100% sure the guy couldn’t walk before hand, and they just wheeled him down there. The messed up thing about that church is that paster later cheated on his wife.

Let’s just list all the pastors off the top of my head that are involved with sexual sin.

  • Jim Baker
  • Jimmy Swagart
  • Rg Stair
  • The Cathlic Church is just filled with them.
  • Darren Carmack
  • Gary Knough

It’s tough, because I know these jerks are people, and shoot even our president has committed adultery.

It’s so frustrating finding a decent church to go to.

You know what people say when they invite me to church 99% of the time. “You should come to my church, my pastor is great.” Or something along those lines. It’s aways about “their pastor.”

I don’t care about your pastor. I want to hear an invitation something like this.
“You should come to my church… ”

  • God is really moving there.
  • A guy had no arm, and it grew back.
  • Some blind guy, and I’m not saying “legally blind” guy can see.
  • So many people got healed, the FDA is prosecuting the congregation for practicing medicine without a license because so many people were healed.
  • The other day we all went to the hospital, they kicked us out because we were healing people.

Personally I’d take a “God is really moving there.” and that is easy enough. Just as much as the others, cause at least I know the person inviting me isn’t in love with their pastor, and that seems like what all church goers seem to be.

I know I should give them a break, they are after all humans.

I guess this is a song for anyone who’s been let down by the church.

Lyrics

Not much to go on,
not much to say
I’m not so sure,
It’ll be ok

I can see through your little lies,
I can see through your disguise,
I can tell what you’re thinking,
Can’t believe the crap you’re selling

{Lame solo here}

I can see through your little lies,
I can see through your disguise,
I can tell what you’re thinking,
Can’t believe the crap you’re selling

It’s not a moogle a logo
A fish you can put on your car
You won’t get very far.
With that shirt your back
And none of this crap
Nothing you hold dear will be left
We sent you all the prophets,
showed the promised land
Believe a stupid slogan
and you claim to hold his hand
and then I see you treating the low with disrespect
inside this church is totally imperfect.

Not much in knowing
So much to say
So much for talking
No price to pay

I can see through your little lies,
I can see through your disguise,
I can tell what you’re thinking,
Can’t believe the crap you’re selling

Keep on cleaning what’s on outside
It’s all apearence such a mess inside

I can see through your little lies,
I can see through your disguise,
I can tell what you’re thinking,
Can’t believe the crap you’re selling

It’s not a moogle a logo
A fish you can put on your car
You won’t get very far.
With that shirt your back
And none of this crap
Nothing you hold dear will be left
We sent you all the prophets,
showed the promised land
Believe a stupid slogan
and you claim to hold his hand
and then I see you treating the low with disrespect
inside this church is totally imperfect.

I walk in his ways,
I live to praise his hole name
Regurgitated lyrics of a generation passed down
Will anybody ever learn to sing a new sound?
Or will we all just walk and fall,
and live as whores and turn away?

Such a heavy weight, you can’t even carry it yourself.

    Where is Darren Carmack?

The reason I want to know is because I am publishing a book called “Don’t Say A Word About This! Home, not so sweet Home.”

It’s about sexual abuse, sexual perversion, rape, and incest.

    Thanks,

It wouldn’t be “With that shirt ON your back” and “WE showed the promised land”?
