Little Girl – Too Much

July 7th, 2007 · No Comments

Story

I did not have a daughter when I wrote this song. It’s really about my wife. There is a 5 year difference between us. So when I met her at 18, I was 23. In a sense she was still a little girl.
Out of all these songs, this one is the most fun to play. I like the way my fingers dance along the guitar when I’m playing this.

Lyrics

Eyes of the sunset
Hair of the fall
Oh sweet silhouette
my little girl

I ask a little too much,
You give a little too much

When the tears begin to fall
I know what I am asking is too much
When the tears begin to fall
I know what I am asking is too much … of you

I ask a little too much,
You give a little too much

When the tears begin to fall
I know what I am asking is too much
When the tears begin to fall
I know what I am asking is too much … of you

Pretty much repeats.
