Astral Projection

Story

This song was written in the sumer off umm sheesh I don’t know. I wrote this song playing around on my Grandpa’s Gibson Guitar. It was the only time I had ever really spent with him. My dad’s dad wasn’t really a big part of our family. Mostly because he left his kids/wife.

But I digress … I was in a band with Jay Jenkins, Adam Kenny, Brian Guarding, and Jim Hynds, played this song for Jay, and Adam several times, they didn’t like it didn’t want to play it … so I recorded it a couple years later. Sounded pretty good, I’m proud of it. It’s one of the first songs I’ve written.

I had no children at the time, looking back it jumps back and forth a lot, and makes very little sense …

For the record the whole “my son” part isn’t really referring to my son, it’s referring to me, and the whole look into my eyes part is talking to a “lover” of sorts.

I personally don’t recommend anyone getting involved in astral projection. I believe I’ve had several dreams of a dark figure standing over my bed as a result of my experience with astral projection.

There are doors in your mind, that once you open them, you can’t close them.

Lyrics

Leave your body,
Leave your mind
Leave yourbody
Of your mind

I leave my body,
Through the third eye.
If the silver cord severed
I will surely die.

Holding true to the things I have learned
Just like the wise man my powered is earned
My son please listen to what I say
My son please listen to what I say

Concentrating until I your face
Clearly
I want you so bad I need you so much
To be near me
So look into my eyes, and finally realize
We are one.

Constantly craving a love a love deeper than flesh
Our souls become one, we become one flesh

Look into my eyes, and finally realize
We are one.

Pretty much repeats after that.

I found your music when i was searching for meditation mp3 so i could listen with the headphones before attempting astral projection. “Astral projection mp3”, was what I’ve written in google.
