Radiohead, Trent Reznor, and Oasis are all going to be offering their music for whatever the fan feels like paying according to this article.
I don’t know if it’s going to work. I sure hope it does. I know for me it hasn’t really worked … I’ve had the donate button for a couple of months just in case anyone wants to donate a dollar or whatever.
Still my music is free for you to download, and share with your friends even if you don’t pay me anything.
To date I’ve sold 1 CD. 2 if you include one I purchased from myself on mp3.com. Granted I’m not really trying.
Maybe if there were millions of people coming to the site, and downloading the music things would be different … I know my server situation would be different 🙂
At any rate have fun listening to my music which has always been free to download to your hard drive since I posted my very first song on mp3.com somewhere around 1998-1999.
If I made just $800 a month doing this thing I could consider quitting my day job … oh wait I’m a stay at home dad.

Yes! I wonder if Coldplay will let us hear their songs too! You only have to feel happy Eugene, you are part of this!
